Kwaheri Tanzania

And now my adventure comes to a close and it is time to say “kwaheri” farewell, to lovely Tanzania. I have come to see how people fall in love with Tanzania and it’s people.

The folks at Nanyukie we always so warm and gracious and welcoming… so often this Mzungu ( white person) received so many “karibu” . I think this is one of the words most often spoken by Tanzanians and it means “welcome” and I felt so very, very welcome and glad for this lovely experience.

My wonderful servers at Nanyukie. David and Bibi ( Grandmother) Christina who sang out “karibu bibi GG” every time I came to a meal. David was smilingly gracious and treated me like a queen.
