Fly Day!- I’m Off !

Well after a bit of an adventure at the check- in desk, first of many twists and turns I imagine ( who knew your credit card had to be the original that you purchased ticket with 10 months ago which was now replaced due to fraudulent activity month ago ?) I’m off to my gate.

A bit nervous, but remembering my adventure to Africa 45 years ago. My mom cried, one of the few times I had ever seen her do that . I flew to NYC to stay with my sister Linda for a city adventure there for a few days (first sushi ever!) and headed to Liberia for 4 months.

This time I am gone for less than a month, and am much more world savvy and am also going to a very safe situation.

After my time there I will send updates on my 4 day Safari in Serengeti National Park.
